Ras Malai/ Rosho Malai

Ingredients

Half-half Milk - .75 liter
Condensed Milk - 1 tsp
Cardamom Powder - 1 tsp
Raisin to garnish
Almond or Pistachio - 5 pieces (grated)
Sugar - 1 cup
Rosgolla - 6/7

Ras Malai/ Rosho Malai

Method

Put the milk in a pan, add sugar, cardamom powder, and condensed milk. Boil until the quantity reduces to half. Be careful that the milk should not stick to the bottom of the pan. Add grated almond or pistachio. Add rosgolla pieces and boil at low heat for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and allow it to cool to room temperature. Place rasmalai in a serving dish, sprinkle some raisins, and refrigerate for 3/4 hours. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

You may prepare the rosgolla or flatten malai yourself by using ricotta cheese (milk + yogurt + lemon juice) and sugar syrup.
